   Meet Gabe. He is Jessi's best friend. He is also a fellow archangel. When he moved to town, he sat next to Jessi and was friendly to her, something that astonished her. They soon became best friends. He is loyal and is always there for her. He doesn't see her as weird and he likes her just the ways she is. she has finally found someone she feels comfortable with and can talk with, not feeling self-conscious. When they found themselves in a situation fighting demons together, they realized that they were more alike than they thought. Join Jessi and Gabe in their fight against the darkness. 

   Meet Wes. He is Jessi's older brother. Since the day she was born, Wes took on the responsibility of watching out for his baby sister and kept her safe from her abusive half sister, friends who didn't know of his wrath when it comes to his sister, and anything else that threatens her. Wes will do anything for Jessi. And she will do anything for him it is a bond that lives for eternity. Join Jessi and Wes in their battle of self-discovery and fighting the darkness. Witness a loyalty that goes beyond the boundaries of time and space.

Meet Jessi, a shy and introverted 10-year-old girl. She has dealt with not feeling as if she fit in since she was very young. Her family life had improved when her half sister moved in with her mother. But as she got older, she did not overcome her shyness. She went to school and felt out of place. Her brother, Wes, is very protective of her.

    I have been writing for most of my life. I find that I have trouble creating a schedule to write. Something always come up; the kids need something or life tends to happen. So, I have given up trying to live by and schedule, except when I ve to go to my job.      So, how do I find the time to write? I do most of my writing at work. I work at a place at an airport where we have quite a bit of down time and I relax and write. I leave early for work and I have plenty of time to dive right in.

So, The Beginning of Knowledge has been available to the public for a couple of months now. I have promoted my story with videos, blog posts, songs, and an amazing book trailer. What is the trick to see my book in the hands of those who will love my book? I have yet to find the worm hole that will take it to the top. So, until then, I will keep posting and I will continue to try to reach my future fans. I will continue to do what I love the most; journey with Jessi on her epic adventure, fighting the darkness, and learning more about the archangels who have been sent into the world to learn the different aspects of who they are.

    I received a bad rating on Amazon by a guy I used to work with. He only gave the rating that he did because he hates my religion. He didn’t read it and he knows nothing about my church. I am so sick of people being hateful. The funny thing is my novel is a fictitious story. Teachings of the church aren't being preached at all. People, before you judge someone's work actually read it. If you enter a story with preconceived notions, you might as well not bother reading it. It is not for you.     I write because I love to write. I am not going to allow prejudice distroy the love I feel for my trade. I hope that anyone who feels the same about their writing will never let hateful people destroy their love and determination to create their next beautiful story. Peace to All. 

    There is a moment in 'The Beginning of Knowledge' that causes a great deal of emotions to rise up within me.

Do you ever think about your life and certain events that affected your life? I have quite often. When I was very young my half sister was very mean to me. The last straw that threw me so far into my shell was the day she told me and my brother that our mom was dead. Of course, Mom was alive and well, but that did not rid me of my trauma. 

  I am asked what inspired me to write 'The Book of the Twelve: The Beginning of Knowledge.' My childhood inspired Jessi. I had a difficult childhood. Yes, I had a mean older sister who liked to torture my brother and me. She lived with us until I was about 3. I was extremely shy and I didn't make friends easily. And then I lost my brother when I was almost 11 years old. As I got older, I didn't get any less weird. I still don't fit in any more than I did when I was a kid. I have come to accept myself more and because I have come to love myself, others have come to accept me more.
