Writing on a Schedule

Published on 3 May 2025 at 23:07

I have been writing for most of my life. I find that I have trouble creating a schedule to write. Something always come up; the kids need something or life tends to happen. So, I have given up trying to live by and schedule, except when I ve to go to my job.      So, how do I find the time to write? I do most of my writing at work. I work at a place at an airport where we have quite a bit of down time and I relax and write. I leave early for work and I have plenty of time to dive right in.

I am almost obsessed with my stories. I have written songs for them. I think I am in love with them. My stories are like my children. My point is some people have a set schedule for writing, more like it is their job. Great, that's awesome if it works for them. I am just not one of those people that can do that. I write every chance I get. And I love every time the words flow onto the page.

I wonder if I worked at writing like it was a job, would I still love it? Look, write like you. Don't try to do it like everyone else, because if you do, your passion for writing my not survive. Thank you for joining me today. Have a blessed day.
